Description

During the Joseon era, the island village of Nanyang guards a dark secret. Baeki, believed to be a white merman, is imprisoned in a temple under the guise of religious reverence. When Cheong-ok uncovers the village elders' cruelty toward him and attempts a rescue, her family pays the price in blood. Years pass before she returns as an adult, infiltrating the temple as a night attendant with two goals: to free Baeki and avenge those she lost.
